About Gotcheme
Gotche Middle East is a chemical trading company based in Ajman, UAE, and the representative office of Barrelyene International, a US-based manufacturer of performance chemicals and additives. The company supplies businesses in industries including paint, plastics, construction, personal care, and oil and gas, with offices in the UAE and Pakistan.
Its main business areas include chemical trading, engineering services, geotextiles, and indenting. Its chemical trading range covers water treatment, performance, commodity, chloro-alkali, firefighting, and construction chemicals. Its engineering services include waterproofing and structural repair, while its geotextile business supplies geosynthetics and related construction materials. Through indenting, the company connects manufacturers with end users for chemical supply.
Gotcheme’s website needed to help procurement and technical teams understand these business areas, find relevant products and services, and enquire about pricing.
The Challenge
The previous website relied on Elementor, which added code across pages and contributed to a heavier website. The existing design also needed to be updated to meet the client’s requirements, while the site structure needed to make the company’s broad product and service range easier to navigate.
The client also wanted a cleaner website that would be easier to manage over time. The rebuild needed to address the design and technical limitations while providing clearer information and more direct enquiry paths for business buyers.
Project Goals
The project focused on replacing Elementor with a custom-coded WordPress theme, presenting the company’s services and product range more clearly, simplifying enquiries and quote requests, and addressing website speed, security, and search visibility. The new theme also needed to provide a more manageable structure for future updates.
Custom WordPress Theme Development
Empower designed and developed a custom WordPress theme from scratch using HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS. The new theme replaced the previous Elementor build and used reusable components for the header, footer, service cards, FAQs, and calls to action.
This approach established a consistent layout across the website without relying on the previous page builder. The design was developed around the client’s requirements, with layouts intended to work across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
After development and testing, the custom theme was deployed live, fully replacing the Elementor design.
Website Structure and Content
The redesigned website organizes information around the company’s main business areas and the needs of prospective buyers.
The homepage presents the company overview, services, reasons to work with Gotcheme, testimonials, FAQs, and contact calls to action. The About Us page covers the company background, mission, vision, licence, and relationship with Barrelyene International.
A Services hub links to dedicated pages for Chemical Trading, Engineering Services, and GEO Textile Business. Additional pages include Product Range, Blog, and Contact Us. This structure helps visitors move from the company overview to the products or services relevant to their requirements.
The homepage also includes calls to action throughout the content and an FAQ section addressing common buyer questions, including licensing and how to request pricing.
Service and Product Pages
Separate pages were developed for the company’s three main service areas.
The Chemical Trading page presents relevant chemical categories and the industries served. The Engineering Services page covers waterproofing and structural repair, including crack injection and low-cover coatings. The GEO Textile Business page introduces geosynthetics and related construction materials.
A dedicated Product Range page organizes the available chemical grades and categories, giving buyers a clearer starting point for identifying relevant supplies. The Blog section was also established to support future SEO content and industry updates.
Contact Forms and Enquiry Paths
Contact Form 7 was integrated to support enquiries and quote requests. Contact buttons appear throughout the website and direct visitors to the Contact Us page, where the enquiry form is presented alongside the company’s email, phone number, and office location.
Calls to action such as “Get in Touch,” “Request a Quote,” and “Contact Us” make it easier for prospective buyers to identify how to contact the company.
Search Engine Optimization
The SEO work included writing meta titles and descriptions for key pages, adding Open Graph and Twitter tags for social sharing, and establishing a clear heading structure.
Detailed content was developed around the company’s products, services, and target industries. The FAQ section addresses common buyer questions, while Google Site Kit was connected for Search Console and analytics. A blog section was also set up to support future SEO content.
These changes provide a more organized foundation for search engines and visitors. The project source identifies improved SEO and search visibility as outcomes but does not provide specific ranking or organic traffic figures.
Website Speed Optimization
The custom theme removed the previous page-builder dependency. Tailwind CSS was used to keep styling focused, while WebP images and SVG icons were used as part of the website implementation.
These changes were intended to reduce unnecessary code and support a lighter website. The original project document describes the site as faster but does not include measured before-and-after loading times or performance scores.
Website Security
Security work included reducing reliance on plugins, setting up website security measures, and protecting contact forms. These changes were intended to reduce potential weak points while providing a cleaner technical setup.
Launch and Testing
The new theme was tested across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices before deployment. It was then launched live, fully replacing the previous Elementor-based website.
Results
The project delivered a custom WordPress theme with a redesigned layout, dedicated pages for the company’s main business areas, and integrated enquiry forms.
The new structure gives visitors clearer routes to explore chemical trading, engineering services, geotextile products, and the wider product range. Calls to action and the Contact Form 7 integration provide direct paths for enquiries and quote requests.
The custom theme also removed the previous Elementor dependency and established a more manageable foundation for future website updates. SEO setup, speed-focused changes, and security measures were included in the rebuild.
The supplied project document does not include quantified results for search rankings, organic traffic, enquiries, or website performance.
Tools and Technologies
WordPress, HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, Contact Form 7, and Google Site Kit.
Why This Project Matters
B2B buyers need to identify relevant products and services, understand a supplier’s capabilities, and know how to request pricing. A complicated website structure can make that process harder.
The Gotcheme rebuild brought the company’s business areas into a clearer website structure, provided dedicated service and product pages, and made enquiry options easier to find. Replacing the previous page-builder setup with a custom WordPress theme also gave the website a more focused technical foundation for ongoing management.
Project Summary

The project covered the new website design and structure, dedicated service pages, a Product Range page, Contact Form 7 integration, SEO setup, speed-focused improvements, and security measures. The new theme was tested across devices and launched live, replacing the previous design.
